Far Cry 4
Using the same principle as with Battlefield 4, we wanted to keep the run consistent. The easiest way to do that is to start from the same point. We chose to startthe benchmark at the start of the game when Ajay recovers from the crash. In this sequence you start with no guns. You must use stealth to sneak around enemies. Due to random inconsistencies with the results, the length of this benchmark was reduced to 150 seconds from 300.
Far Cry 4 is the newest game on our list, and as such it’s no surprise that 1080p is the resolution Geforce Experience set the game to. Unlike the rest of the game we tested, Anti-aliasing was only at 1xSMAA. The rest of the settings were at their respective maximums. The result is astounding, the game really looks life-like.
The overclock helped in this game, but again the differences are so minute that it really doesn’t make any appreciable change. In all cases the FPS dipped into the 30s, and none of them exceeded 70 FPS.
