CONCLUSION
How much are you willing to spend on quality and the best gaming experience? If your answer is “whatever it takes”, the Beast is your best bet. You will not be disappointed.
When you compare the ASUS ROG G751JY (starting at $2,200), the Origin EON-17 (starting at $2,000), and the MSI GT80 Titan SLI (starting at $4,000), the GT80 is head-and-shoulders above its competition and one of the absolute best laptops on the market.
My qualms remain: the numpad is hard to press sometimes, there is a small amount of glare, and the size and weight of the Beast are a slight downside. But the pros definitely outweigh the cons, by a huge amount. The keyboard is so smooth and easy to use, the keys are easy to clean and change. The screen is super bright, handy for gamers playing through the night. The products used in this laptop are some of the best. The current setup with Quad Kingston 120gb M.2 SSD is amazing, with incredible speed in anything you do and minimal latency.
Finally, the difference between one graphics card and dual graphics cards simply cannot be measured, in my mind.
In the end it is up to you to justify the expense for this beast of a machine. Personally, I would spend this in a heartbeat: it is worth every cent.
