Alright fam, hold onto your butt! The studio that brought us Bastion and Transistor teases us today with a glimpse of their third game … Pyre!
In the latest from Supergiant Games, Pyre, you lead a band of exiles on a journey to the learn the truth about the Rites, a secretive competition where the worthiest exiles can return home. Supergiant says that as you journey across the land you’ll meet a variety of characters and learn their fates should they prevail in the Rites. Your decisions will apparently impact the story and decide who succeeds in the Rites.
The developer has shared that Pyre will once again showcase the team’s commitment to rich atmospheric presentation and story telling.
As a fan of their previous games, Bastion and Transistor, I can’t begin to explain how excited I am to see them back at it with another project. Supergiant Games is well known for their gorgeous art, amazing story telling and music that pulls at the strings of your soul. Pyre looks to continue that tradition so we can only imagine and wait with great anticipation to see Pyre.
