New Releases — Week of May 18th, 2015

Alright gamers, it’s Orion back with this week’s new releases! I would like to thank Jesse Mackenzie for filling in for me last week, I was in the midst of moving, I can’t thank him enough!

So let’s get to it, what games are coming out this week? I’m going to try a different format this week that I feel has a little more personallity to it as well I just like talking, so it feels more genuine! At the end let me know what you think of this new layout!

First up we have The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III droppin’ on May 22. Basically you’re thrown into a civil war over in Borgovia and, well, the future looks grim. Van Helsing is in a gong show of a mess when an ally-turned-archvillian sets out to destroy the lands all connected to a strange cult all leading up to the deep dark secret that formed modern day Borgovia.

If that doesn’t get you ready and jacked for adventure, DAT (Drive Any Track) will get your body ready. Coming out May 21st, DAT is a high-octane music-based racing game where every track is uniquely made to the sound of music. Sounds deadly right? Well the sick part is you get to choose the music from your library, so it’s your music and not some third-party nonsense that you may or may not like. It’s tunes and beats you already love… so why not go fast to them, right?

To cool things off perhaps check out LOOP, coming out May 22nd. Loop is a tranquil puzzle game that was inspired by the Zen Philosophy. Not Xen from Half-Life, but relaxation zen IN CASE anyone got that mixed up.

Lastly, the big cheddah, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt coming out May 19th, the most ambitious project to date from CD PROJEKT RED, The Witcher 3 is a story driven next gen open world RPG.  I want YOU to discover and read up about this yourself. Check out the official page on steam and just listen. The game play trailer  alone has sold me on this title, never mind what you’ll be able to do in the game, it’s pure art. Featuring fantastic graphics mixed with a beast sound track, this game has already been getting the highest rankings for reviews, it might just steal the all-time top spot.

So until next week when we have some more great adventures dropping in, Orion out!
