Kôna: Day One Invites You To Come Chill Out

Bundle up, it’s gonna be a cold one.

Well, I’m about as Canadian as they come, and yet somehow Kôna: Day One slipped under my radar until now.

Set in the Canadian north in the 1970s, the first act of this episodic detective mystery follows Carl Faubert as he travels to a small town to investigate an unusual case of vandalism. What greeted him as he arrived was a missing client, no answers to a rapidly growing number of questions, and a blizzard like only the True North can whip up.

Whether you’re looking for a mystery to solve or just want to see game set in your home country, Kôna: Day One seems to have something to offer for everyone.

Pre-orders are open now, and as an incentive to buy in early, developers Parabole are offering 30% off as well as access to the beta starting January 29th.

The game’s release will net those who pre-ordered with a DRM-free copy of the game as well as a key for Steam.

If you’re looking to learn more about the game, you can find the trailer for the game here.

Kôna: Day One is for Windows, Mac and Linux and can be pre-ordered here.
