Hi Everyone,
We are excited to announce that GOG.com is once again sponsoring our retro UT2K4 event at BaseLAN 29 this year. They have provided 25 keys for those who want to compete in the tournament and do not have one from last year.
To obtain a key for the game, please reach out to keys@aybonline.com and provide your name. We will then verify you are coming to BaseLAN and provide a key back.
Installation
Follow the download link in the email that we send out to you to obtain the game. Once installed, run the reg hack in the next step which allows you to play multiplayer.
In the zip that you receive from us, there is a key and there are two files, one .reg for 32-bit system and one for 64-bit, depending on the system that the game will be played on.
Please save the attached file onto your computer, extract it, and run the appropriate .REG file (the one suited for your operating system: 32 or 64 bit), by double-clicking it. This file will modify your system registry, and apply the serial key.
If, for some reason, the keys don’t work , please try the following. First, the registry change might have been blocked by your antivirus or firewall software – please disable them and try again. If it still doesn’t work, you might not have an administrator account privileges. Please make sure that you are logged into administrator account on your computer. You can also try to import the keys to your registry manually. To do this, please press the Windows Key + R, type regedit in the Open box, and then click OK. Then click on the File menu (upper left corner), and choose Import… Then choose the appropriate registry file from two within the zip file, 32-bit or 64-bit, and click Open.
