Square Enix Collective has announced the release of Goetia.
Goetia is the first game to be released by developer Sushee and the Collective. The game was originally Kickstarted in February 2015 and, after successfully reaching their goal, Sushee looked for funding to complete the game by finding a publisher. Square Enix Collective offered support for the final release.
Goetia is a point-and-click 2D adventure puzzle game set in England in the 1940s and is based around the mysterious Blackwood Manor. You play the game as Abigail Blackwood, a character brought back from the dead with no explanation. As a ghost you must set about the manor (and surrounding country side) attempting to figure out what happened since your death years ago.
Sushee claims that Goetia will have over 20+ hours of gameplay and 115 rooms to explore (although the Steam page says 90). You can find the game available now on Steam for $16.99 CDN.
