Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Until November

Today Marcin Iwiński and Adam Badowski released a joint statement on the official Cyberpunk 2077 social media accounts to address the delay of the latest project of CD Projekt Red.

The team over at working on Cyberpunk 2077 has decided to move the game launch from September 17th to November 19th, 2020.

I feel this delay is a welcome one, and something I feel more developers and publishers should practice, especially since the reasoning behind it is focused on ensuring a quality product for launch.

The team shared that the game is in fact finished content and gameplay-wise; however, the reason for the delay is to focus on ironing out any lingering bugs and polish.

The team shared that they are aware that a decision like this may cost the trust of their brand, but if anything, it reinforces the trust we put into them with their transparency.

Paitence is a virtue, and I cannot wait to get into Night City.
