Match Hosting

All matches should be played using Custom Games (Private Match) with the host of the lobby being the lower-seeded team for maps one and three. The team the higher-seed will host map two.

The team that is not hosting will pick which side to play on. The hosting team is responsible for ensuring all settings are correct prior to starting the map. Hosting incorrect settings will result in a forfeit of that map.

The hosting team may not drop host at any point during the match. Dropping host during or after a map’s completion will result in a forfeit of that map. Up to the other competing teams’ discretion to follow through on the forfeit or to replay.

  2. Lower Seeded Team: Pick Map 2 – Higher Seed Picks Side
  3. The third map will be the remaining map. – Loser of Map 2 Picks Side

Delay Between Rounds

Teams may not delay the match for more than 10 minutes between each round/map. A round is defined as a stopping point during the match when match settings may be altered, and/or players may switch sides or change equipment.

Roster Size

Teams must have five players and are allowed to have one additional substitute player. All players including the substitute must pay the buyin.

Playing Man Down

A team may choose to start a map shorthanded. The disconnected player may join mid-map if it’s possible to do without stopping the game.

Substitutions

Max Roster size is 6. Teams may only swap players in between Rounds/Maps. Never during a Map. Substitutes must not be registered on any other team and may not play for more than one team in the tournament. Players that have been eliminated are not eligible as substitutes.

Team Switching

Team changing in-game is not allowed. If a player joins the wrong team upon launch, the map will be restarted. Abuse of this rule will result in a lock/ban. If a player changes teams after the first kill, the offending team will forfeit the map.

Streaming

All participants are encouraged to stream their POV for all matches. Matches will be chosen by tournament organizers to be officially spectated and cast, so teams will be instructed to wait for casters and spectators to join before starting.

Streams MUST have a MINIMUM delay of 3 minutes (180 seconds). Anyone caught streaming without a long enough delay will be warned and will potentially be disqualified.

Bugs, Glitches, & Exploits

The use of Sage walls to boost into untended peaks is PROHIBITED from use in this event. If caught you will be disqualified without question.

The use of the strafe exploit is PROHIBITED in this event. This bug allows you to shoot 4 100% accurate shots while strafing, its noticeable and will lead to disqualification if caught.

The use of out-of-map cypher camera glitches is also PROHIBITED. This bug allows you to place cypher spycams in small, inaccessible areas of the map that end up providing a glitchy view through walls and floors on the map.

Cheating

Players associated with cheats in any way will not be tolerated and will result in an immediate suspension and/or ban.

Cheating accusations must be done by with a replay or VOD attached.

An accusation of cheating may not be reviewed until after the tournament, a verdict will be reached before prize distribution.

Connection Issues

Players are responsible for the stability of their internet connection.

If there is a connection related issue, please finish out the map and show proof of every affected round(s)/map(s) in a protest after the match has been completed. Proof must be in video format, show full ping bars and show the final result of that round(s)/map(s).

In the case of VALORANT having connection issues with their game or authentication servers, games will be delayed until access is restored. Unfortunately without a LAN server available, we are not able to guarantee uptime.

Disconnections

Games must be restarted if a Player disconnects in the first 30 seconds and/or before the first kill.
Proof must be captured and provided in the event of a dispute.

If a player disconnects after the first 30 seconds and/or after the first kill, the map must be continued. The missing player may be re-invited to the game. The team with the missing player may not leave the game at the end of the round that the disconnect occurred. If a team fully leaves the game due to a player disconnecting they will forfeit the map in question.

Teams are REQUIRED to check-in to the tournament via LanHUB.

A team has 15 minutes to show-up with the proper number of eligible players and be ready to start the match. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.
