Ubisoft E3 Plans

Ubisoft is celebrating its 30th birthday this year, an age at which people tend to show more maturity and direction in life. That maturity will be evident at E3 this year with Ubisoft showcasing games centred around hackers, war, and poop jokes.

E3 is just around the corner (Squee!), with Ubisoft’s big event set for Monday at 3 CST. Aisha Tyler will once again host the conference, which will feature all-new trailers and gameplay demos of upcoming Ubisoft games. Ubisoft says titles like Watch Dogs 2, For Honor, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be featured, along with details on new content for live games, and some surprises as well.

The conference will be broadcast live and on demand on Ubisoft’s Twitch and YouTube channels, as well as at Ubisoft.com. It will be preceded by a 30-minute pre-show.

For those actually attending E3, Ubisoft’s booth will include games such as Eagle Flight, a virtual reality game in which you soar over Paris as an eagle, and can take on other players in 3v3 multiplayer action; South Park: The Fractured But Whole, a game I’m beyond excited for considering how fantastic and funny Stick of Truth was; as well as Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands and For Honor.

“E3 is always a very special moment when everyone in the entertainment business does their best to amaze and engage gamers. For Ubisoft’s teams, it’s a period of pride and of anxious anticipation because they are finally showing off the games they’ve poured so much passion into, and receiving feedback from players and peers,” says Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot.

EA kicks off the E3 press conferences at 3 CST Sunday. If you want to follow Ubisoft throughout the week, check out the hashtag #UbiE3.
