A new faction with new rules and a planet-size hunger
Eat the planet! Gladius Prime is a planet in a never-ending state of war. Space Marines, Astra Militarum, Orks and Necrons fight relentlessly to conquer the ancient prizes on Gladius surface. But something worse lurks in shadows: feral Tyranids will soon roam the planet surface. All life on Gladius will soon shudder in fear.
Tyranids are the new faction the players will face in Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – or they can lead this feral and hungry tide!
They will eat the entire planet
The Tyranid race travels through the stars systematically consuming each planet they meet on their foul course. They have been taken to Gladius by unwise agents from the Astra Militarum. When they flee from the containment area, they behave in the only way they know – devour anything they meet to endlessly grow on their enemies spoils.
The Ravening Swarm
The Tyranids consume and move on. Even their “cities” are disposable, reabsorbed into the swarm when they have served their purposes. All Tyranids are controlled by the Hive Mind, the greater consciousness of the Tyranid race, through a pervasive psychic link spawned by creatures like Hive Tyrants and Warriors.
Expect no mercy, because they will give none: this purple abominable tide will destroy everything on its path, led by a superior ravenous intellect. However, if the Tyranids troops should fall outside of the Mind Hive control, they will become wild beasts running feral, attacking Tyranid and enemy alike with the same hunger.
