Earlier in March Twitch made the announcement to cancel their TwitchCon Amsterdam event due to the looming COVID-19 pandemic.
Today Twitch made the same decision in protecting its audience with canceling TwitchCon San Diego. In the statement released Twitch cited it is due to local restrictions on large gatherings and the on-going health and safety concerns for the community.
As of now there is no current plan or mention of a digitial event.
