Today was the day. We finally had our first glimpse of the PS5. It was shared today through the PS5 Reveal event, where we got additional news that we would be getting two different consoles at launch.
While we haven’t received an official launch date for the console, what we can share is that there will be a classic look and feel PS5 with a physical disc drive and an all-digital console.
So what does this mean for you?
With an all-digital console, we can expect a lower cost for the consumer as it fully removes the Blu-ray disc drive.
Of course, the reveal of the final look of the console at the end of the event has sprung forth discussion in the gaming sphere.
