11 bit studios, famous for their critically acclaimed hit This War of Mine, is bringing humanity’s survival to a whole other level with their newest game. Set in a frozen world, humanity is at the brink of collapse when they begin to fight for their survival by creating steam powered machines to fight off the cold. Welcome to the world of Frost Punk.
Not much has been said about the gameplay yet, but the developers look to be pushing the boundaries of storytelling in games with questioning what it means to change the way society works and thinks when survival is all that matters. Creative Director Michal Drozdowski said, “This is a deeply serious game created for a mature gamer. Looking back at This War of Mine, we’re pushing boundaries even further, but we’re not pointing at reality in the same fashion.
