The highly anticipated first-person shooter/slasher Shadow Warrior 2 is getting a limited edition ‘Warrior Vinyl’ release!
Laced Records and rock icon Stan Bush are teaming up with Devolver Digital and Flying Wild Hog to bring fans this limited edition set. Both the gold coloured and the standard vinyl colour are currently available for preorder. The EP will feature an original song for Shadow Warrior 2 called Warrior written by Stan Bush, along with some classic songs; The Touch, Never Surrender, and The Touch (Lo Wang Hijack). The Steam code included in the set will give players the deluxe version of the game. This includes the game, a digital soundtrack, the Razorback Katana (in-game item) and the Solid Gold DLC Pack.
Children of the 80’s may recognize Stan Bush’s The Touch from the 1986’s Transformers: The Movie. The Touch (Lo Wang Hijack) is a duet of The Touch preformed by Bush and Lo Wang, the main character from the game. Stan Bush appeared in the opening for the Shadow Warrior reboot, so it does not come as a surprise that he is coming back to the franchise in some capacity.
I have to admit, I am a sucker for music-related bonuses for games. Fans of the Shadow Warrior series definitely have a lot to look forward to. The game is set to release on October 13, 2016, with the EPs expected to arrive in early November 2016.
