Hey there guys, Gavin here. I’ll be taking over the weekly New Releases coverage, coming to you each Monday.
With that out of the way, let’s get on to the main event.
Releasing for PC, Xbox One and PS4 March 8th is Tom Clancy’s The Division. This game had very successful beta, with over 6.4 million participants. The game sets itself in a mid-crisis New York, where you can team up with friends and explore the city together.
The game has drawn many a comparison to Destiny, so if you’re looking for a shooter MMO in the same vein, The Division might just be worth a look.
I’ve attached a trailer below for those wanting to see a bit of what it’s about.
Also releasing on March 8th for PC is The Culling, which is a battle royale in the same vein as The Hunger Games. A case for Early Access done well, the game is all over YouTube as it nears version 1.0, so I’ve included the trailer below.
It’s all about the last one standing in this game focused around crafting and using your wits to survive. If you’ve enjoyed Rust or H1Z1, this game just might scratch that itch.
Finally, releasing on March 11th for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 is a new Hitman game, which is simply called HITMAN.
The game had a small couple of prologue levels available to play beforehand, which seem to have had positive reception. The game looks like a more polished Hitman: Blood Money, which is widely accepted as one of the best in the series. With knowledge of their goal, I’m excited to see what the game can bring to the table. You can see the game’s trailer below.
So that’s it for this week’s new releases. I’ll be back with more next week, but for now, tell me what games you’re excited for and why in the comments below.
