As if the world of Final Fantasy XIV couldn’t get anymore richer, Square Enix and Level-5 have combined forces to bring a special collaboration to the table.
During a time-limited event, Square Enix and Level-5 are welcoming characters from YO-KAI WATCH to the realm of Final Fantasy XIV, with confirmation that the event will launch this summer.
The special event will feature a total of 13 different Yo-Kai, which also include Jibanyan and Whisper. Players will be able to earn special quest rewards — including items such as Yo-kai themed weapons, mounts, and minions of course.
But that’s not all!
Also in part to the collaboration, Level-5 will include variant versions of Moogle™ and Chocobo™, appearing as “Chocobonyan” and “Mooglenyan” for their upcoming games YO-KAI WATCH 3: Sushi and YO-KAI WATCH: Tempura, launching in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS.

The dynamic Square/Level-5 duo will announce further details of the event in the coming months.
