If you are a fan of intense, realistic military shooters, then Insurgency is definitely on your list of games you’re playing. With a rich community of modders, there is no shortage of tweaks and add-ons for the game, and this small team has now brought us the biggest and best one of them all. New World Interactive brings us the epic WWII mod Day of Infamy for Insurgency and it looks like one hell of a ride.
Fight for survival in WWII-inspired battles from snow-covered fields to close-quarters city combat. These maps will offer an open-ended experience, allowing gamers to fight wherever and whenever they want to. Jeremy Blum of New World said “not only is Insurgency a great platform for a gritty WWII game, but with such a vast global setting where so many factions and locations may be represented, it is the ideal platform for a community-created game”.
Ultimately, Day of Infamy is a collaborative project with New World and the modding community. They will work together to shape the story, levels, weapons, and game types as the project moves forward.
One thing is for certain, with a passionate community and an interactive studio like New World, this game can only get bigger and better.
