For the longest time PC gamers have had to buy certain older games through game bundle services which usually leads to having multiple copies of the same game through different services. But GOG and Steam are looking to fix that with GOG Connect.
Starting today PC gamers will now have the ability to add certain DRM free titles from their Steam accounts to their GOG accounts at no charge. There are some limited time opportunities on certain games but they will continue to add to the list of available games moving forward . You can view the full list at GOG.com, but here are just some of the games that can be used with GOG Connect Service already:
- The Witness
- FTL: Faster Than Light
- The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut
- Galactic Civilizations 3
- Trine Enchanted Edition
- Saints Row 2
- Shadowrun Returns
- The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
