We finally got a release date for Batman – The Telltale Series as well as a trailer! Check it out!
Telltale Games has finally announced that episode 1 of 5, entitled Realm of Shadows will be released digitally worldwide on August 2nd . Like many of Telltale’s titles before it, Batman will be available on multiple platforms including Mac, PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
A physical copy of the game will be released in North America on September 13th and in Europe on September 16th. The disk will include the 1st episode as well as a season pass that will unlock subsequent episodes as they become available.
Not only does the art style look fantastic, but fans can look forward to many familiar and talented voice actors. You can expect to hear the familiar inflections of Troy Baker* as the titular Dark Knight, Laura Bailey (Fetch from Infamous: Second Son) as Selina Kyle and Uncharted alum Richard McGonagale as the villainous Carmine Falcone.
This game looks cool. Telltale Games is known for their excellent storytelling in titles like The Walking Dead and Tales From the Borderlands. With any luck, Batman – The Telltale Series will follow in their footsteps.
*Fun fact from Grey Fox: Troy Baker is no stranger to the Batman IP with previous credits as Harvey Dent in the Arkham series from Rocksteady Studios.
