In a retro space utopia, humans have given up their old bodies for the perfect robotic bodies of future. The only problem is they gave up their freedom to an overlord AI known as Methuselah. Now the last flesh and blood person has been revived and must fight to free humanity. The only problem being that they are a floating head. Welcome to Headlander.
Adult Swim Games along with Double Fine are always on the cutting edge of the weird and fantastic and their first collaboration Headlander appears to be right on point. Players will take control of the last flesh and blood person known to exist, but the problem is they are just a head in a technologically advanced rocket powered helmet. The good news is this helmet gives players the ability to pilot bodies, detach, fly, and reattach to most robot bodies in the game to gain access to a large variety of powers and abilities.
If this is your type of wacky adventure you won’t have to wait too long as Headlander is set to release July 26th on PC and PS4.
