After years of war in Alefgard, a celebrated hero stood up and confronted the Dragonlord, the wicked king of the monsters, to try to put an end to the conflict. Unfortunately the evil Dragonlord deceived the hero into a false deal and Alefgard was destroyed and fell into darkness. The few survivors were robbed of the power to build and scattered around the world to live out their lives in despair. All creativity and ability to build were lost until one day, a hero arrived to restore the land to its former glory and defeat the evil Dragonlord. Welcome to the world of Dragon Quest Builders.
Dragon Quest Builders is set to release in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Dragon Quest series. But unlike titles in the past which were strictly JRPG based, this new addition will have players taking on the role of a hero who can build and create much like the Minecraft series. Players will need to venture out into the wilds and reclaim land to build new cities and rebuild hope for the survivors of the past war. There is also an entire host of famous characters and monsters for players to fight and interact with along the way while building the world anew.
So grab a hammer because Dragon Quest Builders is set to release on October 30th for both PS4 and PS Vita platforms.
