Hot on the heels of the new Chaos Run DLC announcement, developer Psyonix has an amazing gift for Rocket League fans this December. Get ready to shred some ice because as a gift to fans, the latest DLC pack, known as “Snow Day,” is completely free!
This new DLC will bring 2 brand new mutators to Rocket League. The first one will allow players to transform any field into a hockey ready ice rink. And of course the second one will change the ball into a disc shaped puck for that rink. That’s right, your childhood dreams have finally come true! It’s time to play hockey with rocket powered cars!
Psyonix said the Snow Day DLC will also bring with it a special event. Just like the “Halloween Event” held in October, the “Winter Event” will allow players to collect special holiday themed toppers and antenna balls to deck their rides during the holidays. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose; you just have to play to collect them. The full list of new items you can unlock are:
- “Xmas” Rocket Trail
- “Blitzen” Topper
- “Christmas Tree” Topper
- “Sad Sapling” Topper
- “Santa” Topper
- “Candy Cane” Antenna
- “Holiday Gift” Antenna
